Shaneta Oliver is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. After earning her B.A. in Elementary Education from University of North Florida. She entered the education world to explore her passion for education access and equality for underserved communities with Duval County Public Schools. Taking her commitment to increase the education experience for all students she relocated to Nashville as a Founding Instructional Coach, First Grade teacher, and Grade Level Chair with KIPP Nashville College Prep Elementary.
Driven by her passion for providing quality education to her home community she transitioned back to her hometown and served as the English Language Arts Content Team Lead, First Grade teacher, and Grade Level Chair with KIPP Jacksonville Schools. During her time with KIPP Jacksonville she worked to create and establish systems and routines as the Grade Level Chair. As well as help move the needle in increasing student academic achievement in reading and mathematics with the first grade team.
Shaneta joins the Becoming Collegiate Academy team, as the Founding Dean of Operations (DOO). As the DOO, her goals include establishing life-long relationships with Becoming families, building and maintaining community partnerships, and ensuring education access for the school community.
