About Becoming Collegiate Academy (BCA):
Becoming Collegiate Academy is an elementary school on a mission to prepare students for success in college and life. We don't just teach. Through the exposure of HBCU culture we inspire the next generation of leaders to use their unique talents and gifts to make the world a better place for all.
BCA will grow to serve grades Kindergarten-4th grade during the 2025-2026 school year. The school will continue to grow each year until it is a K-5 elementary school.

The Role:
The Bus Monitor is responsible for ensuring the safety of students by providing supervisory monitoring of students during transportation to/from school and on trips. Bus Monitors particularly ensure the safety of our youngest scholars (i.e. Kindergarten students) and special education students.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: working with students (preferred)

- Ability to quickly learn and follow school systems and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students during loading, unloading, and transit to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
- Assist young children and students with special needs as required.
- Maintain clear communication with drivers and school staff regarding student behavior and safety.
- Uphold BCA’s expectations for safety, respect, and care at all times.
- Support other school operations as needed to ensure smooth daily transportation.
